Biography

2022/23: Rakesh appeared in 26 out of the 27 games this season.  In the final LEC stats, Tibby was 2nd in Field Goal Percentage at 59.3%, 9th in Blocks with 1 a game and 13th in Rebounding at 5.8 per game. Rakesh averaged 9.4 points per game and had 33 assists amd 10 steals on the season.   Season-highs(p-a-r-3s-b) 19-4-12-0-4


2021/22: Heading into season, appeared in 33 of a possible 34 games with 16 starts in his two-year career... averaged 3.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.52 blocked shots with a shooting percentage of 57.5 percent from the floor and 66.7 percent from the foul line in an average of 12.7 minutes...
played a career-high 30 minutes and had 13 points and 8 rebounds in a career-day in a win over Rhode Island College... averaged 18 minutes and 3.8 rebounds on the season...  season-highs (p-a-r-3s-b): 13-3-11-0-3...

2020/21: Appeared in all nine games, starting two and averaging 4.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.78 blocked shots with a 51.4 shooting and 75.0 free-throw percentage... ranked first on the team and seventh in the LEC in blocks per game... enjoyed a career game in the fourth game of the season Feb. 14 in a non-conference home win over NVU-Lyndon with career-highs of 18 points, ten rebounds and five blocked shots in 20 minutes... was 7-of-10 FG and 4-of-6 FT in that game... season-highs (p-a-r-3s-b): 18-2-10-0-5...

2019/20: Only 'true' freshman letterwinner on roster... one of five first-year letterwinners and one of four players to see time in as many as 24 games... on limited attempts, led all players with a season FG percentage of 61.5... played in the final 22 games, making all 14 of his starts in succession beginning in the seventh game of the season... had his first points, rebounds and blocked shot in 14 minutes in his second game in the second game of the season at WPI Nov. 16... in that game, hit his first two career field goal attempts, grabbed two defensive rebounds and blocked a shot...  played 25 minutes in his first start Dec. 7 against visiting Worcester State, scoring six points and recording his first career assist... in back-to-back LEC games in mid-January, was 9-for-10 from the floor with five rebounds and 18 points... season-highs (p-a-r-3s-b): 10-2-7-0-2...

High School: Played two seasons at East Catholic and two at The Master's School... member of  Class "L" state title team at East Catholic in 2016, the No. 4 Eagles defeating Middletown in the final and finishing 24-4... member of two conference championship teams at East Catholic... .. scored 1,000 career points…named Rookie-of-the-Year and Student-Athlete-of-the-Year... team captain…
