2023: As a spot starter and reliever, walked only seven batters in 49 2/3 innings… the team’s most effective Little East Conference and NCAA post-season pitcher with a 2-0 record and a 1.80 ERA with only two walks in a staff-high 15 innings… appeared in two of the team’s three regional games with a win and a 1.08 ERA and no walks in a staff-high 8 1/3 innings… In the 5-4 win over St. Joseph’s University (L.I.) in the regional, pitched a one-hitter over the final three innings, facing one batter over the minimum and stranding the go-ahead run at second base in the top of the ninth by getting the Golden Eagles’ No.3 and No.4 hitters on a ground ball and outfield fly ball, respectively, for his seventh win in nine decisions… in the season-ending 7-2 loss to top-seeded SUNY Cortland, pitched the final 5 1/3 innings, giving up just one run on four hits… got the final out during Cortland’s five-run third inning and allowed only one run the rest of the game…
Before Eastern:Â Four-year starter in baseball and basketball programs... in baseball, pitched and played shortstop, was a two-time first-team All-State, all-area, all-division, and team MVP, and helped Yellow Jackets to division title as a junior... conference scholar-athlete... two-sport captain...Â
