Lucas MalaveTransferred from The Catholic University of America in the fall of 2023… an outfielder who appeared in 68 games, starting 61 in his two-year player career… had a batting average of .318 with 77 hits in 242 at-bats, 25 walks, 13 doubles, 3 triples, and 8 home runs… scored 46 runs with 51 RBIs with a slugging percentage of .496 and an on-base percentage of .385… defensively, recorded 118 putouts and  5 assists for a .969 fielding percentage…

High School: Four-year Catcher and Outfielder for the baseball program and three-year member of the basketball program… in baseball was awarded the Ted Schelmay Award as a senior and the Mariner Man award as a freshman and senior for excellence in baseball… as well as contributed to team’s Conference Championship as a freshman and Ocean County Championship as a sophomore… academically was a ten-time High Honor Roll recipient and a six-time Honor Roll recipient for academic excellence…
