2022/23: Dao was a star for Eastern Connecticut. Dao appeared in 24 games with 22 starts. He won Little East Conference Rookie if the Year for his on-court performance. He also won Little East Player of the Week twice. On the week of December 11th, he averaged 14.5 points, 4 rebounds with 11-19 shooting and 7-12 shooting from long range in two conference games. On the week of January 8th, he averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and had 8 assists and 2 steals in two conference wins. When the Warriors traveled to Castleton, Dao had a career day. He scored 26 points with 7 three-pointers in a huge road win. In the final LEC stats, Dao was 3rd in 3-point percentage at 40.6%, 7th in 3-pointers per game at 2.2, 14th in Assists at 2.4 per game, 14th in Points with 12.5 per game and 15th in Field Goal Percentage at 43.1%...
