Before Eastern: Played soccer and ran track in high school... three year starter in soccer (captain in two), playing defense and attack... 2x All-Conference, All-Star Senior, made the All-Academic team... qualified for the state tournament in her junior and senior years of soccer, as well as individually in track & field... contributed with 3 goals & assists in her senior year, totaling 16 throughout her career... played for FSA FC in Farmington, CT as a center back...

Outside of soccer: Received highest academic honors all four years... 2024 Book Award Nominee... member of the National Honor Society

What do you value most in your friends? I value honesty and kindness most in my friends
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is that patience is a virtue
What’s your favorite memory from school (prior to Eastern)? My favorite memory is coaching my first soccer team to win their division and win their 8th grade all star game
Favorite smell: My favorite smell is fresh hydrangeas
If you had to delete all but three apps from your smartphone, which three would you keep? If I had to delete all but three apps from my smartphone, I would keep Messages, Tiktok, and the Clock app
What’s the most exciting thing you’ve ever done? The most exciting thing I’ve ever done is creating an outreach program to educate young drivers about the implications of impaired driving, a long-lasting program that will continue to inform the students of my former high school for the years to come
If you could have an endless amount of one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? If I could have an endless amount of one thing for the rest of my life, it would be time so I could make the most of every journey
What is your favorite way to spend a lazy summer Sunday? My favorite way to spend a lazy summer Sunday is to sleep with Netflix and a snack
Where have you traveled that you would NOT want to revisit? I would not want to revisit Bermuda. Although we didn’t get lost, it felt like we were going to, the fog was insane!
If you won the lottery, who would you call first? I would call my dad to tell him that we could be financially free
If you could have any talent or skill in the world, what would it be? If I could have any talent or skill, I’d choose speed because it could contribute to so many activities and sports I love
If you could have any view from your backyard, what would it be? If I could have any view from my backyard, it would be miles of open land ending in the ocean
What’s the best prank you’ve ever pulled? Putting on a tailgate in the school parking lot was the best prank I’ve pulled
What’s your favorite thing about your hometown? My favorite thing about my hometown is the sense of community. We have a town green where events are put on, and there is an abundance of local businesses
What strange food combination do you enjoy? I enjoy tortellini pasta with butter, parmesan cheese, and peas
If you could be any age for a week, what age would it be? I would be 18. To be young and capable is so great
If you could be famous for one thing, what would it be? Athletics, specifically soccer! Or my career as a future CRNA
If you could instantly become an expert in any subject, what would it be? Human Biology, it’s so interesting but there is so much depth to the human body
What subject are you already an expert on? I think I’m an expert on childcare, I’ve been a nanny for a few families, ages range, and a camp counselor for multiple years
What’s the largest animal that you think you could win a fight against? I think I could win a fight against a badger, but it would be a very difficult fight
If you had to stash a giraffe away from the government, where would you put it? I’d probably put it on the movie set of Dora, because it would blend in like a prop
Hardest thing you’ve ever done in your life: The hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life is work 7 days a week totaling over 80 hours to fund my tuition payment and savings account for college
Closest brush with greatness: Being one of two students who won the superintendents award for my school district for my service acts and well-roundedness as a student
Amount of weekly allowance you would give to your children: I’d give my children a maximum of $10 a week. You can’t buy much with just $10, but if they save it to buy something really important to them, I could teach a great lesson
Biggest crisis facing America: The mental health crisis; too many adults are battling with mental health issues and going untreated
Your favorite moment of all time (not necessarily sports-related): My favorite moment of all time was finding my self-worth my senior year, not in my academics or my achievements compared to others, but my achievements compared to my former self
World’s most recognizable person: Taylor Swift
World’s most despicable person: My former high school soccer coach was my most despicable person on earth. Talk about a confidence destroyer!
Something that you tried once but would never do again: Something I tried once but will never do again is jumping off of chicken rock on Candlewood Lake. It’s about 25 feet above the water and terrifying. It was fun once, but I won’t be doing it again
