Biography

 

Tri-captain... one of four seniors, three of whom are three-year letterwinners... conference's top returning player in scoring and three-point field goals...

 

Coach Geitner: “Brian had a great junior year – he hit some big shots and had some monster games. We’ll look for even more consistency from him this year, both offensively and defensively, and I think he’s up for that challenge. I know he’s excited for a very good senior year. When he moves without the ball and makes himself hard to guard, he’s a very, very efficient and effective player.”

2012/13:  As a first-year starter, named second-team all-conference and to the Eastern Tip-Off and Franklin & Marshall tournament all-tournament teams... ranked sixth nationally in three-point field goals per game (3.36) with a program season record of 94 which represented 42.9 percent of the team's record of 219... led a balanced team with a 15.0 scoring mark, and was second on the team in FT pct. (84.9)... in the conference, first in three-pointers, second in scoring and fifth in three-point pct... had at least one three-pointer in all 28 games in which he appeared, collecting five or more eight times... equalled his career high with seven en route to a career-high 25 points against Salisbury Jan. 2... was 8-for-8 from the stripe in the LEC semifinal loss to Keene State Feb. 22... in three games in the ECAC tournament, was 14-for-27 from "three", averaging 18.7 points with a total of 12 assists and 11 rebounds and had five steals in the title game...  season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 25-8-7-7...

 

2011/12: Saw regular action off the bench in all 30 games, leading the team in 3-pt. FGs made (58) and attempted (147) and percentage (.395) and in limited tries in FT percentage (.913)...  was second in the conference in 3-pt. FGs made, tied for fourth in 3-pt. FGs made per game (1.9) and eighth in percentage... named to the Eastern Tip-Off all-tournament team with a two-game total of 34 points and 10-for-22 shooting from three-point range... converted all five of his field goals -- the final one a three-pointer ending double-overtime in a one-point victory at SUNY Oswego in the second round of the NCAA tournament... contributed at least one three-pointer in all but six games, including the first seven and last seven games of the season... opened the season with 15-for-28 marksmanship in the first three games of the season, including 5-for-6 in a 24-point win over Trinity College Nov. 22... dropped in seven three-pointers at York College Jan. 30 -- two shy of the record held by current assistant coach Kris Johnson...  season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 23-4-4-7...

 

 2010/11: First-year letterwinner... one of two true freshmen to earn a varsity letter...  saw time in 17 games, all off the bench... contributed 37 points, ten three-pointers and six assists in an average of 4.8 minutes... in his second career game in the championship of the Eastern Tip-Off Tournament, recorded season-highs in minutes (17), points (11) and three-point FGs (3)... season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 11-1-2-3...

 

Career-highs (thru 12/13): 41 min., 25 pts., 8 rebs., 7 assists, 1 block, 5 steals, seven 3-pters. ...

 

 High School: Played four years of basketball and three of baseball... as a senior in basketball, all-stater who led all state players in three-point field goals... all-conference and conference tournament MVP that year in leading Indians to conference title... all-conference in baseabll as a senior...
