Biography

One of three fourth-year seniors on team in 2016-17...

Coach Geitner: “David will be returning for his fourth year in the program, possessing an inside presence, both offensively and defensively.”

2016/17: season-highs (p-r-a-b): 17-9-2-3

2015/16: Came off the bench in 23 games, setting personal career-bests in most every category... after  shooting 58.8 percent from the foul line as a freshman, connected on 82.4 percent of his 34 tries, second-best among those averaging at least one FT per game... ranked fifth in the LEC in rebounds per 40 minutes (11.8) and seventh in blocks per 40 minutes (1.9)... had one double-double (12/career-high 13) in a 58-56 LEC loss at Rhode Island College Jan. 30, sinking 5 of 7 FGs and both FT attempts and blocking two shots with only one turnover in a career-high 25 minutes... in the championship game of the Hamilton Invitational, had 12 points and five rebounds without a turnover in 23 minutes...made all of his FTs in a game seven times, including  5-of-5 in an 88-57 LEC win against Plymouth State Feb. 6... had at least one rebound in 22 of 23 appearances... commited one or no turnovers in 19 of 23 games... season-highs (p-r-a-b): 13-13-2-2...

2014/15:  In a similar number of attempts, shot more than 14 percentage points higher than his freshman season...  averaged 2.6 blocked shots per 40 minutes played... made his one start  in his seventh appearance of the season, playing a season-high 18 minutes Jan. 6 against Amherst... equalled his career high with three blocked shots in that game to go along with two points, two rebounds and a steal... in one four-game stretch, was 6-of-9 from the floor... season-highs (p-r-a-b): 8-8-1-3...

2013/14: One of four newcomers and two 'true' freshmen to finish the season with the team... saw time in the first 16 games of the year -- starting the first ten -- and in all but four on the season...  connected on his first FG on his first attempt in his debut against Worcester State, also grabbing two rebounds and blocking two shots in 12 minutes... grabbed at least one rebound in nine of his last 11 appearances... season-highs (p-r-a-b): 6-4-2-2...

Career-highs (thru 16/17): 30 min., 17 pts., 13 reb., 2 assists, 3 blocks, 2 steals, zero 3-pointers...

High School: Played four years of basketball... all-conference... MVP as a senior captain...
