Joe Mangiameli returns to the staff  for his third season as he completes his undergraduate degree in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

A native of Suffield, Mangiameli is the owner of the Southern New England Baseball Academy in Windsor and serves as co-head coach with the Dream Bat Bombers' 18U team. Prior to that, Mangiameli served as assistant varsity coach at Suffield High School for two seasons.

Mangiameli was a catcher with the Southern New Hampshire University baseball program for two seasons. At Suffield High School, Mangiameli played four years of baseball and three seasons of soccer.

“Joe is one of the bright, young minds in college baseball coaching," notes head coach Brian Hamm. "He makes our team better on a daily basis because of his many strengths within coaching, recruiting, and baseball operations. Joe is a consummate professional; his humility, work ethic, positive attitude, and sportsmanship are character traits that our athletics department celebrates.”

Mangiameli is pursuing a career as a college head baseball coach.
