Coach LaBranche: "Joe is our captain and is back as our starting centerfielder. We expect him to take another step forward offensively and potentially hold down a leadoff spot. We hope he will give us a hard charge offensively and as our captain he is our energy guy. He brings a lot of passion and positive energy and intensity to the game and we are expecting him to lead us in our competitiveness."

High School: Member of the baseball, basketball and football teams and was a three year varsity starter in baseball and football and a two year varsity starter in basketball… Class "S" All-State honorable mention in baseball... was named MVP his junior and senior year in baseball and was team captain for the football and baseball team his senior year...
