Lucas MalaveBefore Eastern: Four-year Catcher and Outfielder for the baseball program and three-year member of the basketball program… in baseball was awarded the Ted Schelmay Award as a senior and the Mariner Man award as a freshman and senior for excellence in baseball… as well as contributed to team’s Conference Championship as a freshman and Ocean County Championship as a sophomore… academically was a ten-time High Honor Roll recipient and a six-time Honor Roll recipient for academic excellence…

Transferred from The Catholic University of America in the fall of 2023… an outfielder who appeared in 68 games, starting 61 in his two-year player career… had a batting average of .318 with 77 hits in 242 at-bats, 25 walks, 13 doubles, 3 triples, and 8 home runs… scored 46 runs with 51 RBIs with a slugging percentage of .496 and an on-base percentage of .385… defensively, recorded 118 putouts and  5 assists for a .969 fielding percentage…
