Nicolas MartiniBefore Eastern: In high school, was a four-year varsity starter on the baseball and basketball teams... captained the baseball team in his senior year and the basketball team in his final two seasons... as a shortstop and third baseman, was named to the All-Conference team in his sophomore, junior, and senior years... named All-State as a junior and a senior... played in the All-Star game in his final two seasons and was named the Team MVP as a senior... in basketball, reached 1000 points, ranking him third all time in his school's history... in baseball, batted .576 as a senior and .433 throughout his career...
