PJ OrtizBefore Eastern: In high school, was a four-year starter on the baseball team, captaining the team in his final three seasons... as a catcher, was All-Conference as a sophomore, junior, and senior... made the All-State team as a junior... had a .352 batting average as a senior and a .363 career batting average... helped his team win the conference title in 2023... academically, was inducted to the National Honor Society in 2024 and was named a Manchester Scholar in 2025...
