Former four-year goalie Kyle Boutot joins the staff of 15th-year head coach Greg DeVito as he completes requirements for his B.S. Degree in Sport Management.
The Tolland native appeared in 38 matches in goal over three seasons from 2017-19, with his career goals-against average of 0.64 ranking him third among goalkeepers over the last 37 years. Â
As a junior in 2019, Boutot started all 20 matches for a team which won its second straight outright LEC regular-season championship and was ranked in New England for seven consecutive weeks. That year, he compiled a 17-3 record – a winning percentage of .850 which ranks second all-time in the last 37 seasons. His 20 starts that year also equaled the second-most in a season, his GAA of 0.69 and seven full shutouts equalling the sixth-best marks in a season.
Academically, Boutot earned a spot on the LEC All-Academic Team in each of his three years of eligibility and qualified for the Dean’s List in five semesters.
