- First year member of the program, received his first varsity letter
Indoor:
- Finished 6th at both the Wesleyan Indoor Invite and CGA Bear Invite
Outdoor:
- Won both the 400H and the pole vault at the CGA Spring Invite
- Set personal records in the 400H (56.70) and the pole vault (4.00m/13'1.5) at the Bonnie Edmondson Classic, finishing 3rd and 1st, respectively
- 400H time was the 5th fastest in school history
- Made the LEC All-Rookie Team for his pole vault at the LEC Championship

Before Eastern: In high school, competed in indoor and outdoor track and field and played soccer, all for four years... in track and field, competed in the decathlon, pole vault and hurdles... in track and field, three-time all-conference in the pole vault, and two-time team MVP... in track and field, twice named Best in FIeld in the conference... as a senior, was fourth in the state in the decathlon... captained indoor track team for two years and the soccer and outdoor track teams as a senior... class salutatorian and scholar-athlete...
