Box Score CLERMONT, Fla. – The Eastern Connecticut State University women's lacrosse team scored all of its goals in the first half in a 15-4 non-conference victory over Mass College of Liberal Arts Sunday morning at the National Training Center.
Eleven different players contributed a goal or assist for Eastern (3-4) against second-year program Mass College (0-2). The Warriors took only one of their 27 shots in the second half.
Katie Burke (South Windsor) and Amanda Will (Wantagh, NY) each scored three times for Eastern, with Taylor Pendergast (South Windsor) contributing two assists. Maggie Bodington (Stratford) won three of Eastern's 13 draws and Tess Mraz (Fairfield) picked up three ground balls.
Taylor Emmerson (Colchester) and Jessica Purick (Riverhead, NY) split time in goal, each making a save. Emmerson allowed one goal.
Eastern visits Fitchburg State University March 31 in a non-conference match at 4:30 p.m.
