Box Score PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Sophomore Cam Cormier scored the game-winning goal 1:14 into sudden-death overtime Saturday afternoon as the Plymouth State University men's lacrosse team stopped Eastern Connecticut State University's seven-game winning streak, 9-8, in Little East Conference competition at Currier Field.
Eastern (8-5, 4-1 LEC) drops its first LEC game of the season after losing only its second road match this year, both losses coming in overtime. Plymouth (4-8, 3-2 LEC) broke a 10-game losing streak to Eastern, dating back to an overtime win at Eastern in the 2008 LEC semifinals.

Tim Reilly (Hanover, MA) and
Liam Murphy (Dover, NH) combined for seven goals, Reilly with four and Murphy with three.
Junior Mac Tetreault led the way offensively for the Panthers with three goals and one assist on the afternoon. Cormier also score once in the first quarter to tie the game at 2-2 early. Senior Phil Pichel recorded three assists, and junior Colin Claflin tallied two goals in the second half, both of which gave PSU the lead at the time.

Blake Smaldone (Hamilton, MA) came away with 15 saves, as the host Panthers held a 24-19 shot advantage. Junior
Jayson LaRiviere made 11 saves for Plymouth.
Eastern hosts the University of Massachusetts Boston Tuesday at 4 p.m. before closing out the regular season Friday at Keene State College at 7 p.m. Both are conference contests.
