Senior defender played all 180 minutes as the Warriors posted their seventh and eighth shutouts of the season in Little East Conference scoreless ties at Plymouth State University and at home against the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. With Nieves, the Warriors allowed only seven shots to reach net. Through the regular season, Eastern has a team 0.88 goals-against average – best in the conference. The weekly honor is the first in the career of Nieves, who closed out her career home season Saturday on Senior Day against UMass Dartmouth. Fifth-seeded Eastern (6-5-5) visits No. 4 Castleton University in a first-round LEC match Tuesday at 7 p.m.
