In a 172-110 loss at Husson University, Rego led Eastern with 17 points in his three individual events by winning the 200 butterfly (2:05.92) and placing second in the 100 butterfly (57.40) and the 100 individual medley (1:00.97), with his latter time just .01 seconds off his program record. Rego also swam the third leg of the 200 medley relay which was second in a time of 1:45.52. The weekly LEC honor was his first. Eastern opens its home season Saturday hosting Western New England University and Plymouth State University at noon.
