Now 2-0 this year at home, Eastern (3-1) had looked to continue their winning streak against the Bison (2-5), previously beating them in the 2023 matchup, 5-2. For Eastern, this year's win total matches the win total in 18 matches a year ago.

Eastern hosts RPI in a non-conference match Saturday at 4 p.m. on Family Day. The teams will be meeting for only the second time, following Eastern's 2-1 road loss a year ago.
