Becomes the third member of the women's program to earn LEC weekly recognition. First-year member of the program helped Eastern to fourth place among 11 teams at the Southern Connecticut State University Elm City Challenge over the weekend. On Friday, she was seventh among 19 in the weight (44-10 ¾) and on Saturday was fifth among 27 in the shot put (37-10 ¾).

Becomes second member of the men's program to earn LEC weekly honors. At the Southern Connecticut State University Elm City Challenge over the weekend, Â Drake helped the Warriors to fifth place among 13 participating schools by placing second (by .46) among 26 runners in the 400 (51.16) and fourth among 15 in the 55 hurdles (8.05 in the preliminaries/8.07 in the finals) and also running a leg of the 4x400 relay which was third among 12 in a time of 3:36.62. He added 12 points to the team total in the two individual events. His time in the 55 hurdles was the fifth-fastest all-time.
