Eliot Melgar (New York, N.Y.) and Sebastian Kadllof (Clinton), Eastern State Connecticut University men's soccer opened Saturday's Little East Conference clash with a strike at the 1:50 mark and never looked back, the Warrior duo leading a decisive 2-1 victory over the Spartans Saturday afternoon at Rick McCarthy Field making them 2-0 in conference play.

- In just the second minute of play, Eastern Struck first when Sebastian Kadlof buried his second goal of the season off a clean setup from Ben Syphrett (Ledyard) and Eliot Melgar from a long ball into Warrior Attacking territory, setting Kadlof up to deliver the fatal strike into the Spartans' net giving the Warriors the early 1-0 advantage with 88 mintues remaining.
