- Off a free kick in the 20th minute, Trinity faked out the Eastern defense before Ian Spiro sent a powerful strike into the far-left corner of the box and into the lane of Mike Desmond, who finished off the play with a right-footed swinger down the left lane for Trinity's second goal of the evening.
- In the 60th minute of the match, Shane Ivey buried a shot to extend the Bantams' lead. Ivey finished off a smooth sequence of passing from Kieran McCabe and Ian Spiro, who combined to set up the insurance tally, closing Eastern out of victory's reach.
