Second-time weekly honoree this year. The team returned to action after a month-long layoff and dropped a 139-132 decision at KSC's Spaulding Pool Friday (Eastern won the swimming portion of the meet but Keene earned the overall win by winning the diving competition (Eastern does not sponsor diving). Carvente shared the team lead with 18 points. She won the 100 (1:03.79) and 200 (2:20.45) butterfly, recorded a 27.17 split on the second-place 200 freestyle relay (1:49.14) and a 28.42 butterfly split on the third-place 200 medley relay (2:02.87). Eastern competes at the University of Saint Joseph Saturday at 1 p.m. and hosts Norwich University Jan. 24 at noon on Senior Day before competing at the four-day Little East Conference Championships Feb. 12-15 at the Boston Sports Institute. The Warriors finished third at the meet a year ago after winning its first title in 2023/24.
