Defensive Player-of-the-Week
Second-time weekly honoree in three weeks after gaining the identical honor in Week #2 on Sept. 8. Fourth member of the program to receive a weekly award this year. In a pair of shutout wins – the team's third and fourth in seven contests this year -- Fabry started both games and averaged 86 minutes per match, including her fourth 90-minute performance in a 2-0 Little East Conference home victory over VTSU Castleton. She also contributed one assist. During the week, the Eastern defense allowed only five shots to reach goal and surrendered only two total corner kicks. This year, Fabry has started all seven matches for the 4-1-2 Warriors (1-0-1 LEC), averaging just under 80 minutes per game. The Warriors have allowed an average of only 3.9 shots to reach goal this season. Eastern visits Union College in a non-conference match on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the first meeting between the programs.
