Men's Basketball: Lots on the Line for Host Warriors in LEC Regular-Season Finale

Series History:
  • 105th meeting all time, dating back to the 1946-47 season. Eastern leads the series all time, 55-49. Plymouth won the first seven games and Eastern got their first win against the Panthers in the 1957-58 season
  • The Warriors are 14-2 in their last 16 matches against Plymouth, dating back to the 2017-18 season. Their only losses in that stretch came in the 2021-22 and 2024-25 seasons
  • In Plymouth's win last season, the match was played at Foley Gymnasium in Plymouth, N.H. It was the final match of the 2024-25 season for both teams, as neither made the LEC tournament. Plymouth's Kevin Henry scored 27 points on 10-26 shooting, accounting for nearly half of his team's field goal attempts. Henry does not return for the 2025-26 season
  • In Eastern's win at Foley Gymnasium on January 10 of this season, Jalen Hamblin dominated with 22 points (12-of-14 FT), 12 rebounds, three steals and a blocked shot
  • The Warriors had a +19 advantage on the boards... Brady Hulland's 18 points (8-of-12 FG) led Plymouth in that game. The Panthers were without leading scorer Yansel Reyes in the first meeting this season. Reyes is averaging 17.7 points in his 22 games this year
Game Notes:
  • The Warriors are currently in a three-way tie for 5th in the conference standings, hoping to secure one of the final two spots and gain entry to the LEC Playoffs
  • Plymouth is locked into 8th place and will not qualify for the conference tournament
  • Eastern's Michael Carothers leads the conference with 150 assists in 24 games played this season, 33 more than second place. Carothers ranks 4th nationally in total assists.
  • In addition to leading his team in scoring, Yansel Reyes leads his team in assists, with 85, and ranks second in rebounds, with 89. Brady Hulland, Plymouth's leading scorer in the last game against the Warriors, is the team rebounding leader, with 104
