The Warriors capped off a pair of top three finishes (second for the men and third for the women) at the Little East Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships with two major individual honors. Drake was named the Little East Conference Male Rookie Track Athlete of the Year to become the first Warrior to receive the award since Ryan Escoda in 2019. Caldwell was named the Little East Conference Female Rookie Field Athlete of the Year as the Warriors win the award for the second consecutive year

Male Rookie Track Athlete of the Year
Hagen Drake, Fy., Stonington (Stonington)
Named the Little East Conference Male Rookie Track Athlete of the Year to become the first Warrior to receive the award since Ryan Escoda in 2019. Broke the twelve-year old 400-meter hurdles record of 55.64 set by Luisantonio Rosado in 2014, initially running 54.45 and lowering his time to 54.09 at the Little East Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Ranks second in school history in the 110m hurdles, running 14.97, less than half a second slower than
Adam Schimmelpfennig who ran 14.49 in 2025. Named LEC Rookie Track Athlete of the Week on December 14, April 12, and April 19. Received Second-Team All-Conference honors in the 400m and 60m hurdles, All-Rookie Team in the 60m hurdles, and First-Team All-Conference honors in the 4x400m relay during the LEC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Named First-Team All-Conference in the 110m hurdles and 4x400m relay, Second-Team All-Conference in the 400m hurdles, and All-Rookie in the 60m hurdles and 400m hurdles during the LEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Female Rookie Field Athlete of the Year
Casondra Caldwell, Fy., Bridgeport (Great Oaks Charter)
Named the Little East Conference Female Rookie Field Athlete of the Year as the Warriors win the award for the second consecutive year (
Givanni Perry in 2025). Broke the eleven-year-old record in the triple jump set by Savonnah Artis in 2015. Jumped 11.47m (37-7.75) to break the school record of 11.42m (37-5.75), but now ranks second behind
Laci Davis (11.56m, 37-11). Named LEC Field Athlete of the Week on January 25 and LEC Field Rookie of the Week on five separate occasions. Named to the LEC Relay of the Week for her participation in the 4x100m relay on January 25, winning three separate awards that week. Received First-Team and All-Rookie Team honors in the triple jump during the LEC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Named Second-Team All-Conference and All-Rookie in the triple jump and long jump, and Third-Team All-Conference in the 4x100m relay during the LEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
