Adam R. Czerwinski won 21 career games and was a starting pitcher on the 2002 NCAA national championship baseball team. Czerwinski started a staff-high 13 games in 2002 and his victory over Marietta College in the national tournament propelled the Warriors into the national title game. In his senior season, the Somers native was named first-team All-Little East and second-team All-New England Region when he compiled a 2.04 ERA in a staff-high 84 innings in helping the program to a second straight national tournament berth. Adam Czerwinski won 21 career games and was a starting pitcher on the 2002 NCAA national championship team. Czerwinski started a staff-high 13 games in 2002 and his victory over Marietta College in the national tournament propelled the Warriors into the national title game. In his senior season, Czerwinski was named first-team All-Little East and second-team All-New England Region when he compiled a 2.04 ERA in a staff-high 84 innings in helping the program to a second straight national tournament berth.  After injury limited him to 20 2/3 innings over four starts as a junior on the 2001 NCAA tournament qualifier, Czerwinski was a key pitcher on back-to-back NCAA regional championship teams and national tournament qualifiers in 2002 and 2003 under Hall of Fame coach Bill Holowaty, winning 15 games with five complete games and averaging nearly seven innings of work in each of his 25 starts in those final two seasons. Czerwinski currently shares the program record with 44 career starts and ranks in a tie for fourth in innings and shares ninth place in strikeouts. Czerwinski holds a B.S. Degree in Communication from Eastern and is employed as a campus director for New England Tractor Trailer Training School in Bridgeport. He resides in Weatogue and has two children.
