Paul St. LaurentAt the time of induction, Paul J. St. Laurent was the only four-time All-New England player in men's soccer program history, and first individual to gain induction based solely on soccer-playing accomplishments. The 6-foot-3 inch, 190 pound sweeperback possessed a rare combination of size, strength, speed and skill to dominate all aspects of the game. A three-time captain, the Mansfield, Conn. native gained an unprecedented four All-New England awards while playing under Hall of Fame coach Tom Nevers. With St. Laurent in the fold, Eastern won 39, lost 17 and tied two, posting three straight ten-win seasons and qualifying for two ECAC Division II-III regional tournaments.
