Cynthia L. Walker Noniewicz was the first goalkeeper to letter four seasons and was also the first keeper to start for more than one season. After coming off the bench in four matches as a freshman, Noniewicz started each of the team’s 52 matches in her final three seasons. The Warriors did not allow a goal in 20 of those matches, with Noniewicz recording 13 full shutouts and playing all but seven minutes in two additional team shutouts. She compiled a 25-21-6 win-loss record in her career, with a 1.21 goals-against average and .827 save percentage in 4,967 minutes. In her three-year starting career, she played 95.6 percent of a possible 5,010 minutes. The Waterford native played on three post-season tournament teams in the formative years of the program – including the first NCAA Division III tournament qualifier as a freshman. Her teams were ranked nationally a total of ten weeks and regionally on 27 occasions. Noniewicz was selected as the inaugural All-Little East Conference keeper in her first starting season in 1990, when she posted six full shutouts in 15 starts with a 0.94 GAA and .824 save percentage. As a senior, she was honored as the All-New England Region first-team keeper --  the program’s only first-team all-region keeper to date. A two-year team captain, Noniewicz still holds or shares three season keeper records and is among the top three in seven of ten career categories for keepers.  Her total of 1,686 minutes played as a senior is still a season record, as is her average of 102.0 minutes played as a sophomore, when  she played all possible 1,530 minutes in net. Her total of 320 career saves currently ranks second all-time (seven behind the leader), as do her career marks for wins, starts, consecutive starts, and full match shutouts.
