Two-time All-America outfielder Kevin R. Beaudoin batted third in the order 114 times in 135 starts over his final three seasons and is presently the only player in program history to have totaled as many as 200 hits and 100 walks. In his sophomore and junior seasons, the left-handed hitting Plainville native was named to NCAA Division III All-America teams, in the process becoming the first player in program history to record consecutive 60-hit seasons. In his 172-game career between 1982 and 1985, he was also a two-time Northeast Region all-star, a three-time Northeast Regional Tournament all-tournament selection and as a sophomore in 1983, was named to the NCAA Division III national tournament all-tournament team. In 20 post-season tournament games in his career, Beaudoin batted .408. In each of his All-America seasons, he led the Warriors in hitting and was selected team MVP. Beaudoin batted .369 in his career, graduated as the program’s all-time leader in RBI (160), was second in hits (215) and also ranked among the top three in batting average, walks (100), home runs (28), total bases (352), and doubles (39). He was a member of four NCAA Division III tournament qualifiers (two regional and one national champion) and 30-game winners which won 137, lost 44 and tied two (75.4 percent). After batting .392 as a sophomore second-team All-America centerfielder in 1983, Beaudoin became the program’s third first-team NCAA All-America as a junior when he batted .408. That year, he had a New England Division III-leading 52 RBI and team-leading 66 hits.
