A four-year starter, Kathleen M. Regan stood as the all-time women’s basketball leader at the time of induction with 1,283 career points and over 800 rebounds.  A native of New Britain, Regan participated in all possible 93 contests in her career, leading the Warriors to their first three post-season tournaments and an overall record of 71-22. To date, Regan is the only women’s player to lead the club in both scoring and rebounding four consecutive seasons. As a senior, Regan set single-season records for point (411) and scoring average (16.4) and was named Connecticut Player-of-the-Year and Offensive Player-of-the-Year by the New Haven Tap-Off Club. Regan was also a member of Eastern’s first  intercollegiate softball team, letting three years and compiling a .366 career average. Upon graduation in 1979, Regan played professionally in Belgium for one season.
