Through the first 39 years of the men’s soccer program, there has been only one All-America: Glenn C. Judge. A native Peterborough, England, Judge’s quickness and powerful shot accounted for 66 goals and 26 assists in his 57-match career. In a 74-match, four-year collegiate career which included one season at Springfield College in 1984, the sturdy 6-foot-1 inch, 185-pounder scored 82 goals and totaled 195 points, earned all-region honors three times (twice at Eastern), All-New England accolades twice and also competed in the prestigious Budweiser Indoor Soccer Classic as a senior. As a junior, Judge was honored as the program’s only NSCAA Division III All-America to date. That season, Judge’s total of 57 points made him the unofficial Division III national scoring champion. That year, he contributed to 35 of the team’s 50 goals with 22 goals and 13 assists and sparked the Warriors to a program-record 13 regular-season victories and a spot in the New England rankings five times. With the exception of his assist total in 1985, Judge led each of his four teams in goals, assists and points. As a senior captain, Judge helped Eastern to a second straight 13-win season and to its highest NCAA regional rank (sixth) to that point. A consummate student-athlete, Judge twice was named as an adidas Academic All-America and was additionally honored as the department’s male E-Club Scholar-Athlete Award recipient as a junior. Following  graduation, Judge went on to earn his law degree from Suffolk University.
